The 30 A precision current clamp measures from 5 mA up to 30 A without cutting, disconnecting or stripping the wire, which suits sensor and actuator currents in most modern passenger and commercial vehicles. The large 25 mm jaw and the auto power-down make it convenient for long battery drain measurements (the auto power-down can be disabled). Hall effect sensors with closed-loop control provide improved sensitivity, lower noise and faster response.
