The leads are colour coded so that the colour of the lead in the engine bay matches the colour of the waveform on the PicoScope Automotive screen — no more guessing which lead belongs to which channel. The signal cable is shielded over its full length to minimise noise pickup; the 3 m leads with a 1.5 m ground extension are designed for cars and small vans.
